I think every other SEC team would have traveled better than Florida in that case.

Without a doubt. Florida fans are embarrassing.

Well no shite. Other teams haven't done anything in the last 10 years. If UF fans were used to playing in a terrible bowl every year or none at all we'd probably be a little more excited too.

Alabama has won 3 of the last 4 NCs, and they would have still packed the dome.

Why Florida why? Now us UK fans have to listen to Louisville fans crow about beating an SEC elite team. I don't get why Florida didn't show up for that game.

The Wednesday game was the deal breaker for me. If it had been on the weekend I would have been able to go.

I was in Nola for New Years and it was incredible the ratio of Louisville fans to Florida fans. Absolutely embarrassing for the entire SEC.

You are still reeling from being so embarrassed I see. I didn't know it was so painful for so many folks.

Weird.

probably in that case.

I'm a little surprised because I would have thought UF fans would be a little excited to see Florida back to some relevance after the last two years under Urban... but I guess it wasn't a long enough trip in the wilderness for them to feel a sense of excitement

The bowls have run their course when you have no shot.

Louisville was a horrible match up on paper as far as excitement. WGAS about the Cards.

Cromp, the Sugar Bowl was clearly a bigger deal to UL fans. We haven't been down long enough to be fired up for a game that means absolutely nothing.

The playoff will help that.

New Orleans is kind of old hat too for me anyway.

Well no shite. Louisville is a mediocre football program. Much Like Tennessee fans would be, they were absolutely over the moon to be in any BCS bowl.

Nobody really cares about tBCS anymore outside the title game. Especially when you go into it playing a team like Louisville.

what? If it was a game against a 8-4 unranked UConn that might hold water.

But Louisville was 10-2 and ranked. So the excuse it was the team is weak.

Now if you want to talk about the game being on a Wednesday I'm with you. Mid week bowls before Christmas and after New Years are horrible for traveling fans.

840K is cheap to UF Athletics and it's donation coffers..

Lville'e sodomy and pistol-whipping of a no-show Gator bunch took much more.
