Yea nobody compares high school players to NFL players...

Fred Rouse and Randy Moss, I think that was a bad comparison

He's a FL fan and we kicked off Gary Brown so we could sweeten the depth chart for him.

Paying hoes to set Gary up was too easy.

He named Florida his favorite in June of 2009, before Saban and Bama kicked UF's teeth in and went on to win the National Championship. His head coach seems to think Bama made a "very, very positive impression" on both Timmy and his dad.

Oh and btw, his HS coach said TJern may be as big if not a bigger recruit than Tebow was. He thinks he's that good. He should know, he was Tebow's high school coach as well.

Jernigan was a Gator before the Gary Brown crap. Urban is personally going to recruit him. I'm not worried one bit. The kid is a classy kid and of course he's going to be respectful of the place that just hosted him. He has been a Gator for years now, much like Matt Elam.

Didn't Elam flip flop all over the place for you guys? So you're expecting Jernigan to be a tough pull for UF then?

If you call having second thoughts when the guy you have been in communication with for years has decided to retire shopping around, then I guess. I think you're thinking of Dorsey who was never solid.. Elam was solid up until about a month before NSD.

Guy plays in Lake City. 40 minutes from Gainesville.

Urban Meyer is personally recruiting him.

I'd be shocked if Alabama manages to pull this kid.

How many times has the #1 recruit in AL left the state? It doesn't happen very often does it?

If you made me bet $100 I would put it on FL.

Losing one game doesn't affect lifelong fans very often.

Can a coach recruit when he's on a leave of absence? Did y'all bring in another coach to take his place? Will he come back for spring practice and then take another leave of absence? Will he ever make up his mind?

Well not many outside schools fair that well in Alabama. Between Auburn and Bama, it's hard to even get a word in edgewise.

And if you're wondering when the last time a top prospect left the state of Florida to suit up in crimson? Well, let's just say as a freshman he scored two touchdowns in the national championship. Sounds like he made the right decision to me.

I'm saying when he said that, Tim Tebow was still on the team and Florida was still the juggernaut that couldn't be beaten. Now that Tebow is gone and the image is shattered, things may be different.

I'm not saying UF won't end up with him, I'm just saying I wouldn't call him a lock at the moment by any means.

That being said, don't get so pissed that Bama beat the damn tears out of your lord and savior Timmy Tebow. It was just the way God wanted it.

Why do Alabama fans keep trying to claim that the 2009 SECCG victory was a bigger deal than the 2008 SECCG?

Both teams won a game, and both teams went on to win national titles.

True but the 2008 game was a lot closer

It is not a bigger deal....It is just more recent. Plus you did not beat the "best team in CFB history" in 08 lol

the media sets teams up for that kind of failure.

So, in 2010, anytime someone beats Alabama, it'll be like the biggest upset in history. I'm glad Florida doesn't have that pressure anymore in 2010, because it was terrible to deal with every week in 2009.
