So there’s really no reason A&M won’t measure to up to expectations next season, right???

Mine either - but there are plenty of fanatics with money that won’t mind.

Whatever place our talent ranking is relative to the conference, that or better is my expectation. So if our talent ranking is 4th best in the conference. I expect us to be the 4th best team or better in the conference by the end of the year. This conference eats their own and no other conference has close to the talent that the SEC has.

With that said, if we continue to recruit top 5 consistently, our talent rankings should get better and afford us the opportunity to become a playoff team next year going forward.

Obviously injuries, returning starters, and player experience plays a big part as well. Hence this year. And there are time we can exceed expectations or talent position relative to the conference, hence last year. But one thing that Jimbo’s teams have been consistent at is their talent position relative to the conference is on par or better with where they place (rank) at the end of the year relative to other conference members.
