I think he's like 44 now.

Dude always sucked. The only reason people think he shouldn't have sucked was because of his recruiting stars and cannon of an arm.

The point was ... he 'regressed' from a '08 year when he had an eff rating of 145, 26 TDs to 13 ints ... to a 124 rating, 20 TDs to 20 ints.

So, he always sucked but after a year under Nutts ... he just sucked worse.

Or he lost a bunch of good players around him, which made him suck worse.

This. He lost McCluster, Oher, and Wallace. Those 3 losses had the potential to break our offense and it did. Simple atrition...

He had McCluster & Hodge in 2009 to go along with John Jerry & Daverin Geralds up front.

Having one of the fastest WRs in the NFL to stretch the field makes it a lot easier. Snead missed Wallace that final year big time

I can't believe there is a thread like this and a thread about Nutt when he was at Arky all on the front page

McCluster was still there, + Hodge, + Breaux, + 5* Pat Paterson

Starting the season as #4, media hyped Snead & company, as 'breakout' team

this never happened.....fwiw.

We started at 11-ish and everyone in front of us started losing. We moved up to 4 after beating Memphis, a Bye week, and some team like SeLa.

McCluster was moved to halfback (which was an excellent move by Nutt that nobody seems willing to give him credit for), Hodge is boss but not a deep threat, Breaux sucked and always sucked, and Pat Patterson was a true freshman as well as an epic dumbass.

He lost his most dangerous offensive target at WR and his LT. Once again, the players around Snead made him look better than he actually was.

Jevan Snead is like Jason White or Trent Dilfer. On his own, he sucks. He's not like Eli or Peyton Manning who do an excellent job of making those around them look better than they actually are.

Oh, and this

never happened.
