I've watched Alabama win 9 national championships. LSU fans try to pretend like 2019 was the best ever because you feel small compared to Alabama and have nothing else to hang your hats on. You have to pretend like 2020 didn't even exist as a means of coping with them having a better team.

Now, as for learning your place, let me tell you where LSU's place has been my entire life - an easy win. An LSU fan is as likely to see LSU get shut out when playing Alabama in the state of Louisiana than you are to see LSU beat Alabama.

In the past 12 years you have had a total of 1 season where you didn't lose a minimum of 3 regular season games. In that time you would have made a 12 team playoff twice, one of them as 3 loss regular season team and below the 10th seed.

The only time LSU has really had any success against Alabama was in teh early 2000s when Alabama was under NCAA sanctions. Yet even Saban was shut out by Alabama during that time @ BR 31-0.

Most years when Alabama played LSU we didn't even watch it on TV. It would be a daylight game and everyone would listen to it on the radio while dove hunting.

You'll always be talking about next year or 2019 because it's all you fricking have. 1 season and a shite ton of hope. In reality, you're one of the biggest wasters of money in college football and got shite to show for it.

It's an entire season, not just where you are at the end. If you want to be the GOAT it starts DAY 1.

I saw 3 national championships before we ever hired Saban.

When do you win the natty? Is it at the beginning of the year or end? The defense was literally middle of the road statistically the first half of the season. The last 5 games, when we had to play the best of the best, the defense was elite! Stats prove it. 2019 LSU had the best offense ever and no team comes close AND had an elite defense! Statistics and multiple 1st rd picks don’t lie. The 2019 defense had 13 guys drafted. So tell me again how bad that defense was. Again, by the end of the year when you win titles LSU’s defense was ELITE!
