In the very article Todd is talking about it in the past tense. "What I took from the air raid." He's not running the air raid and was not in Tampa.

He wasn’t a play caller in the NFL, and Kirby damn sure wasn’t about to let him try anything fancy at UGA. At best he had 1 year of play calling experience before going to UGA (2018) and was immediately fired following that year. He did such a great job he wasn’t allowed to call plays in Cleveland in 2019.

His career:
Position coach or lower til 2010
2011-2012 Mike Gundy called plays
2013-2015 Marcus Arroyo called plays
2016-2018 Dirk Koetter called plays till 2018 Monken calls plays most of 2018
2019 Freddie Kitchens called plays
2020- Todd Monken calls plays approved by Kirby

Most top programs look for game changers,

This describes monkens offense as well.

See the explosive offense vs 7 ranked opponents. Uga had the best O vs ranked teams in the nation, which proves you wrong.

Specifically, It’s hilarious how hard you try to avoid discussing the first half of the VOLS game.

Bennett, LADD, KMAC, and monken absolutely destroyed your team with Explosive plays.

A real man could admit that, discuss that, so what is your excuse?

By fancy, do you mean a 1/2 field, 1 read offense?
The kind of fancy that spreads the defense out 53 yards horizontally and then ignores half of the field?

You do know that Kirby gave him full autonomy of the offense in 2020.

Tye playcalling was limited by a covid year, the spring QB quitting, the fall QB sucking, and the 4th string QB with no reps with the 1st string offense in fall scrimmages running the offense that he could at the time.

Called plays from the start in 2018. Cleveland fans were screaming for him to do it, but when the HC thinks he's better nothing you can do about it. Called plays at OSU for Gundy. Called plays as a HC. What's going on here?
