Ridiculous inadvertant whistle against northwestern. Refs lucky to get bailed out.

I don't think they tried to screw anyone. The out of bounds call would have resulted in Northwestern ball. Seemed like an honest mistake.

What about the lay up the took away with under a minute left by calling a back court violation? I do not think the ball touching his foot after its been knocked loose is a violation, he would have had to of possessed the ball.

Bad Refs all around, should have called the Elbow a foul, but not a tech. foul that gave them the ball back.

Maybe trying to screw northwestern was hyperbole, but the inadvertent whistle gave the ball to fau and added time to the shot clock when northwestern had chased down the loose ball. Almost another samford situation.

If front court is established, it doesn’t matter about the cause of a pass or deflection if it hits the offense’ foot and goes directly to backcourt. That’s a violation.
