Only fans of other teams think this...the UNC fans feel targeted by the NCAA. They boo'd Dr. E last night during the trophy presentation. I felt like the refs did and equally poor job officiating that game for both teams. Neither had a significant advantage.

So what you are saying is it's ok for the officials in the Natty to suck, disrupt the flow of the game, have half the players on the floor in foul trouble and basically negate one team's bread and butter as long as they suck against both teams.

I beg to differ. That shitshow last night was one of the worst title games ever witnessed thanks to officials involvement. And I will take up for them here: it's not all their fault, that's the way they've been told the game must be called. Which is bullshite. This freedom of movement philosophy is destroying college basketball. Can we please find a happy medium where the game is watchable and entertaining again? I don't want a "no blood, no foul" mentality, but this disrupting the game for any contact is ridiculous.

If I'm a college coach, my go-to play is have someone drive the lane because they will draw contact and a foul will be called on the defense 95% of the time, even if the defensive player is standing as still as a statue. Unless the offensive guy lowers his shoulder, he's not drawing a charge, period. Freedom of movement, you know.

Officiating was just turrible throughout the tourney. Several games I saw, where I had no rooting interest, it felt like they were protecting a seed.

Last night it just felt normal and expected.

What would you know about owning anything in basketball?

I wasn't suggesting the game wasn't poorly officiated or played...just refuting that it was one sided. The refs called some fouls on the Zags that were head scratchers but let them get away with a ton of obvious stuff. I also felt the same way about the way they called UNC.
