Ol' quarter-zip is my favorite part.

Watching Chris Warren hit a 3 to beat Kentucky is one of my all time favorite sports moments I’ve seen in person. RIP Tad Pad

I'm a little older than you guys. Mine is watching Sesay, Darby, Smith, Boone and our current AD Keith Carter beat Pitino's UK team with Derek Anderson, Padgett, Nazr Mohammad, Ron Mercer and Anthony Epps 73-69. I think it was 1997 and we went on to win our first of back to back Western Division titles under Rob Evans. We were ranked in the top 25 for the first time in the history of the program the following Sunday.

I watched a lot of terrible Rebel basketball teams lose A LOT of games in that rundown POS. One time my brother bet me two Papa John's personal pizza slices that Sean Murphy (coach's son) would miss a dunk when we were walking into the game. He won the bet like 8 minutes into the first half that night and I'm still pissed about it. Donde Flemister, Andrae Burnside, Wes Hardin, Just complete garbage players. JJ Sims was our Center one year and the poor bastard was like 6'7" and I watched Eric Dampier block shot after shot he took while dunking on him multiple times Now a buddy of mine coaches against Dampier's daughter in AAU. I worked at the Yerby Center while a student at OM and we set up and broke down the Science Fairs and Cheerleader camps that were all held there. I don't think I could watch that game without tearing up multiple times. Tearing down a piece of my childhood and teen years.

Ha. I was there during the Weltlich years. John Stroud, Sean Tuohy, Elston Turner, Carlos Clark, Tim Thomas, Cecil Dowell.

I remember having breakfast one morning at the old Holiday Inn and the visiting Georgia team came in. I’ve never seen anyone inhale a platter of pancakes like Dominique Wilkins did. Ole Miss went on to upset that Georgia team in the SEC tournament in Birmingham that year. One of the best games I’ve ever gone to.

Tearing down a piece of my childhood and teen years.

My two older kids graduated from OHS in the Tad Pad. My baby daughter loved going to all the home games with me during the Rod Barnes years. I had season tickets two rows behind the home bench.

But the first game under Kennedy, he threw his clipboard on the floor and cussed a player so loudly that my daughter was scared and never went back.
