Zero crying. Bucky significantly overachieved
this season. Last P4 Coach hired and only bottom 15% of portal was still available when he took over.
If before season you told me he would take a team to NCAA and win a first round game I would have been skeptical.

There are 60+ high schools in Texas with more than 3k students.
UH has always had a reputation as a commuter school with a high acceptance rate, that’s why the “Cougar High” nickname became a thing back in the SWC days. Out of all the members of the old SWC, UH was the most like a “community college”.
Similar to cougar high, I’ve seen University of Memphis/Memphis State referred to as “Tiger High”.

Sampson is one of the best coaches in college basketball hands down. His teams play physical and he’s superb when it comes to coaching fundamentals.
They went neck and neck with a UF team that ran through everyone in the tourney to the very last minute.
