We are and rightfully so. The defense completely shut down the GSU offense that has given other top teams fits in the past, and we fielded an offense that was smooth as silk and got everyone involved. What LSU was supposed to do was beat Ga Southern by 28 (which many here and elsewhere said wouldn't happen, btw).
What LSU actually did was beat them by double what we should have and we pulled our started after half (and one series).
So LSU didn't do what we were supposed to do. By your own standards you should be impressed.

Some teams don't complete 85% of their passes in practice with no DB's on the field. In 15 Bama had the best defense in the SEC against the run and gave up nearly 300 yards rushing to GSU.
That said LSU isn't printing cups and hanging banners over this win.
