For everyone that defends Anderson, the writing is on the wall whether you like it or not. Excuses can buy you a little time, in this case probable has bought a couple years. But in the end, it becomes the boy crying wolf, and nobody buys it anymore. You overdraw at the bank time after time, nobody is going to give a damn about excuses. Only only thing that matter is the balance in the bank account, and Mike is seriously over drawn. Feelers have definitely gone out.

Im not surprised since the Hogs are finished for the year hopefully will give serious consideration for a new coach. BoarEd-Arkansas fan on another part of this website gives reasons why Mike Anderson shouldn't be fired saying that Mike has never had a losing season. Well, I submit that if they take away those "cupcake" games at the beginning of the season, he might very well be on the minus side. A lot of coaches depend on those games to instill confidence in their teams. Sometimes it backfires like it has done in both Football & Basketball at Arkansas. BoarEd gives another reason to keep MIke by saying that the team is the youngest in the league. So what, they should be getting better instead of worse. Mike has played the age game before & he has had 8 yrs to bring along a perennial competitor & hasn't done it. Maybe he can't. It's time to find out & hire another coach.

Seriously, how do you lose to this A&M team?? Mike Anderson consistently lost to A&M in his Missouri days, but those A&M teams were consistently winning a game in the ncaa tournament. Billy Kennedy has yet to make the tournament in consecutive years
