I’m guessing that he is referring to the fact that Tarkington is very outspoken and calls it like he sees it. He doesn’t sugar coat anything even when it comes to his Alma Mater. One example is he was extremely critical of Coach Richt long before the fan base turned on him.
He really seems to ruffle feathers with a good bit of the fan base.
