We just seem to be getting less marquis guys, it seems. Like I said, we lose so many linemen after this year, I think it will take another year to return to contender status.

I mean you can maybe argue we don't get coveted guys on the OLine, but Les has totally earned my trust in OLine recruitment.

Who do we lose? On the OL we lose big Herm and MAYBE Black. That's one starter. On the DL we lose Tyson Jackson, Pittman, Alexander, and Favorite. All 4 of those are being replaced by 4 star recruits.

Getting recruits, yes, but I still think it will take another year for them to gel.
Same with the WR dept. Losing BL and Byrd won't help. Yes, we have talent behind them as well, but again, I think it will take time for them to settle into their starting roles.
