I think you're confusing Ole Miss with Mississippi. Yes it's what state the school is in, but it doesn't mean it's a redneck school. You can be conservative without being a redneck. Rednecks hate OM for the same reasons LSU fans hate OM, therefore they do not come to OM. Of course the stereotype doesn't scare off every single one, but you're wrong in
assuming OM is full of rednecks in disguise
