Let’s not forget that the true freshmen OTs that held off Will Anderson and Dallas Turner will be back as experienced sophomores for an improved LSU QB…and Maason Smith will be back on defense along with Perk. Against Buchner lol

If it weren’t for the MASSIVE holding on Harold Perkins Jr…Alabama’s reigning Heisman winner, Bryce Young, wouldn’t have had a single TD against Brian Kelly’s LSU

They won’t have Bryce to bail them out this year. And they still lost. I guarantee they contacted Nuss before settling on Buchner and Nuss told them where to stick it.

I hope you're right, but odds are they will be in the thick of things again moreso than being a 3 or 4 loss team.

I'm not confident we can beat them in Tuscaloosa.

You do realize we’ve beaten them more in Tuscaloosa than in BR, right? And Tyler Buchner? Really? I trust a more experienced JD5 and even backup Nuss (who put up 300 yards against UGA in a half) to be able to beat them with Buchner.

And Saban called Brian Kelly one of the last true tacticians in CFB. He knows what’s up

Tier 4 is what it is because of Bama and UGA

That just goes to show you that Alabama beats LSU so often we can’t keep the years straight. Alabama lost to LSU what twice since 2011 and both times it came down to a turnover that shouldn’t have happened.

Alabama has lost to LSU 50% of the last 4 years and LSU has a significantly better team in 2023

Unless Bama is rolling out a much better defensive line this year than last, they aren’t slowing down Daniels and our WRs and TEs. And we have probably the second best defensive line in the country (behind only maybe UGA) to stop…Tyler Buchner? Lol

Last year Will Anderson and Dallas Turner couldn’t beat two true freshmen OTs in Will Campbell and Emory Jones who are both back as sophomores. It could be a blowout TBH since Bama is relying on Buchner/Milroe at Qb. Oh and LSU gets Maason Smith back on the DLine.

He said it was the worst decision he made in his career to be exact but at least he’s honest and correct about it.

LSU may earn the top tier in the next few years, but they do not deserve to be in there right now.

First tier is either Bama and UGA (depending if you want to look at the last three to five years) or UGA alone if you want to look at the last two.

You are getting downvotes, but your list is pretty fair

Alabama alone in tier 1 is very fair, two decade ago, Tennessee was in tier 1 with them

But LSU and Auburn are certainly being in tier 2 with UGA and TN

Florida in tier 3 is also correct, when you go with “historically” because they not anywhere close to the top before Spurrier

If we add in OK and TX - the Sooners are certainly tier 1

Longhorns? I could make an argument for either tier 1 or 2; but would probably put them in the “slipped to tier 2” bucket with Tennessee, but y’all are much closer to tier 1 than the rest, even my GA Bulldogs, based in historical metrics…
