Wait. So you're telling me Texas hired a black guy because of A&M?
Posted on 5/3/14 at 9:31 pm to EKG
So would you say to anyone with a straight face that, Texas A&M has been the more successful program over the last 100 years?

Either way, we bring a lot to the conference.

How on earth is THAT what you're getting from my statements?

Because Arkansas has only been in the league since 1992.
Arkansas has been to Final Fours in 3 different decades. Sweet Sixteens in four different decades. Elite Eights in four different decades. NCAA tourneys in 8 different decades.
Arkansas also is one of the youngest basketball programs in the nation. As a program it averages nearly 20 wins a season and ranks in the top 15 in all time win pct, above programs such as Indiana.

I thought everyone hated him?
In fact, we were told over & over that everyone was tired of hearing his name.
That's nuts!
Who knew?

That's my thought also and why I said A&M or UK. Mens hoops and CFB are the money sports. We have a lot of good football teams, so if UA or whoever left, so what? But if UK left we'd have just UF and whoever happened to be hot (an unfortunate current affair). A&M will in time help with a big footprint in Texas.

I don't know man. I'm drunk

I'm telling you that was a huge factor in why they pulled the trigger on strong despite their old white boosters throwing a hissyfit

You can hate someone and still be intrigued to watch them.

Isn't there already an OP on this?

This isn't a troll. It's you being a typical Aggy fan.
It's a typical Aggy fan trying to convince others they're a "sleeping giant" just as you great grandfather tried to do 50 some odd years ago.
Texas football is just that, Texas football. As in, Texas Longhorn football. I hate the bastards, but I'm also not an idiot.

I sense some SWC stuff going on here.

Yep you're trolling. Now call them "the flagship of Texas"! Do it! You're on fire!

Oh yeah, Auburn is also the only program who had our spring game broadcast on the main ESPN channel this year. More proof that we rule the SEC
Posted on 5/3/14 at 9:38 pm to auburnphan23
That's another good point.
Our team is so worthless, we didn't even have a spring game.
