Yes. I left off Final fours because that was a post of mine from two weeks ago when a TN fan claims TN was the second best program in the league. TN hasn't been to a final four so no count was needed.

You DO realize the ratings were so good bc you had #2 on your team. Texas will pick up with their new coach next year. Lotsssss of pple will be intrigued to see how that pans out. Including me

Disagree. Texas needed a home run hire to take away aTm's momentum. They failed to do that and aTm will continue to out-recruit them. Strong will be a bust.

Either way, we bring a lot to the conference.

Because Arkansas has only been in the league since 1992.

Arkansas has been to Final Fours in 3 different decades. Sweet Sixteens in four different decades. Elite Eights in four different decades. NCAA tourneys in 8 different decades.

Arkansas also is one of the youngest basketball programs in the nation. As a program it averages nearly 20 wins a season and ranks in the top 15 in all time win pct, above programs such as Indiana.

Texas hired a black head coach. There WILL be interest this season

A&M will need to have a 10 win season to keep their momentum without #2. Just don't see that happening

If Texas has a decent year, they'll start bringing the recruits in again and running the state. Nothing new of course, that's always been a longhorn state.

Besides the fact that they got turned down by every big target they had (even with their Vatican money), why do you think they hired a black coach?

You don't think the way they handled it MAY have been a factor in coaches saying yes?

This is an interesting topic . Everbody talks about tv markets as a measure of worth . TV executives pay based on the size of a market . The addition of Texas AM brings the Dallas and Houston market and Missouri the St Louis market . Conversely other worthy SEC candidates to join our league like Clemson and the Florida schools miami and FSU were considered to be a duplication of an existing footprint . I argue that football fans that is football viewers are more driven by the quality of the teams than the location of the school. Why was CBS paying our league so much money . It certainly wasn't due to the massive tv markets Baton Rouge , Tuscaloosa and Gainesville . It was due to quality football .

No, not really.

They've been slightly down, that's the difference.

It has nothing to do with aTm, but all to do with Texas. When they're good, which they normally are, they get the recruits they want and they run the state of Texas. Two years of aTm being a decent team isn't going to change over 100 years of history. That's a fact.

They made gigantic asses of themselves, yes, but they hired a person of color for one reason. That reason is 90 miles to the east and is completely drinking their milkshake.

People were intrigued with #2. People didn't care if A&M won or lost. Hell they weren't even that great but Jff is one of those guys that people marvel at no matter how they're doing as a team. Kinda like pistol Pete

It was a 2011 survey, the year after AU gained huge temporary national interest due to the Cam Newton scandal
Yet Auburn recently singed a new contract with Under Armour that pays them about 4 million dollars a year to wear their gear, which is about the same amount of money Alabama gets from Nike

Auburn has a 7 year 27 million dollar contract with Under Armour. Alabama has a 8 year 30 million dollar contract with Nike

Your troll would be more effective if we were in separate conferences for the past 100 years. Circumstances are completely different than they've ever been.
