Get out of here with LSU above Arkansas with those awful numbers.
12% of Male and 18% Female in Greek Life, Arkansas doubles it literally.

Auburn is wayyy too high at 3.
Ole Miss is first, Bama second, and after that it doesnt matter

Dude, we get it, you are proud of your frat. You're not in college anymore and no one likes the creepy alumnus lurking around the house.

You make fun of the "Old Heads" until you become one. Just wait and see..
It sure was a wild weekend when the old heads decided to drop by for a game weekend, ha.
I'm just injecting voice of reason which must people won't listen to anyway.

The amount of people in Greek Life, or Size of Fraternities does not constitute it's fratness.
shite ASU may have a high "rating" and a lot of Fraternity people etc, but they are pretty low in "fratness"

South Carolina
"Greeks are a minority at USC (about 27 percent of the student body), but since those involved are very vocal and visible in representing their organization, Greek life seems a lot more prominent on campus. The addition of lavish Greek housing on campus seems to have increased the number of recruits. Most students agree that Greek life constitutes a major part of the social scene, but does not dominate it"
Arkansas
"The fraternities on campus definitely know how to throw a party. If you're new to the area or have a hard time meeting people, going through "rush" is the way to go. There isn't a better way to meet people, but you'll have to deal with non-Greeks saying that you pay for friends. The Greeks are very involved in campus life. All of the houses host one, if not more, philanthropy events throughout the year, and other organizations, like Hot Pink Ribbon, give more opportunities for Greeks to give back. One house on campus had an incident in 2009 in which a pledge almost died from drinking too much. Because of this, there has been an understandable crackdown on fraternity parties. All of the Greek life parties were suspended for a couple of months, and the future ramifications are unknown at this point. Underage students are never supposed to drink at fraternity parties, but this is followed as much as jaywalking laws."
"The one week in which the Greeks really shine is Row Week. This is basically a weeklong party in which all of the frats have their biggest parties of the year. They all have different themes and have to build a fence in front of their houses. Every house also has a series of concerts; sometimes there are some big names. Previous years have seen Lil' Flip, Three 6 Mafia, Too Short, Otis Day and the Knights, Mike Jones, and Juvenile."
That's exactly how it was back then and sounds the same today.
I'm shedding a tear the Kappa Sigma house still has Three 6 Mafia at "Island Orgy" for our Row weekend.
Enough said, the rest of the SEC can suck my nut except for Ole Miss.

Sorry I wasn't disagreeing with you about Arkansas not having greeks.
But I guess I see fratness differently.
I see it like this as an example. Florida greeks know how to party, theres a lot of them, etc. (And insert that with any other non SEC School, like Southern California or Arizona State)
But I wouldn't really call them Fratty.
ETA: University of Cincinnati got a high Ranking on this website, but I really wouldn't call them "Fratty".
SEC people understand what im trying to say right?

100% the truth. Almost everyone who was anyone was Greek at Arkansas. NO ONE went to parties that wasn't Greek thrown. ROW weekend is infamous for a reason.

You care to elaborate on what the hell the machine is other than just an underground society?
The most ridiculously overhyped political "organization" on just about any campus anywhere. It's literally a handful of people from the "Old Row" fraternities that supposedly runs school politics. 90% of the members of these Old Row fraternities and sorrorities don't even know who the Machine representatives are. The ridiculous thing is that the non-Greeks could literally make the "Machine" (which is nothing more than a voting bloc) obsolete if they gave a s### about campus politics and actually got behind candidates and voted. Furthermore, most of the fraternity and sorrority members on campus thought the Machine was a joke.
The Machine isn't exclusively Old Row. You're right in that most Machine fraternity and sorority members couldn't care less about the Machine.

okay aha, atleast others on the same page.
Fraternities probably run the Campus at some school in New Jersey or NY, and they run it while looking like the people on Jersey Shore.
Would you call that "fratty"?
Posted on 8/30/11 at 8:37 pm to I Bleed Garnet
Not at all. Ole Miss and Bama have the highest percentages of kids who dress "fratty", and thats why they should top the list
Posted on 8/30/11 at 8:43 pm to yamammasprofile
Exactly.
Numbers, how they "run" campus, and how crazy their parties are doesn't constitute their "fratness"

Our Zeta's (Sorority) can out dance anyone including all black sororities as demonstrated at the sprite competition in Atlanta.
It's not like they won $100k for Arkansas or anything, oh wait... they did.
