put Murray in an LSU jersey and Mett in a Georgia jersey, see how it goes.
Mett was put in a Georgia jersey, he was 2nd string before being booted from campus.
And based on watching both play yesterday, I don't see any reason to think Murray wouldn't have done just as well if he was on LSU. Mett made great throws, but also made some very poor throws and several times succumbed to pressure. Murray didn't really make any poor throws, and several times got loose to extend a play. Yet another element of his game that is superior to mett's.

Mett got sacked 4 times, Murray had his helmet grazed once.
Like his interception?

Fact is, yesterday we saw the best QB play you will see all year from both Murray and Mett. Too bad for LSU that it was in the same game. If you like all that scramble around and throw the ball up for grabs... then you will disagree with me.

Right. Throwing the ball into a DL's helmet is a good throw.

because mett is a fricking statue. There were several times murray faced some pressure, but he ran out of it and threw on the run, or ran for it and got a first down. That's part of his game.

That wasn't a poor throw at all, it was an excellent play by the DL. The DL was rushing, and a split second before murray threw the ball the DL peeled back to play coverage. Murray was going to the right place, and threw the ball correctly, it was just picked.
When I said "poor" throws, I literally meant the throws. Mett had some overthrows, underthrows, behind receivers, etc. Murray threw every ball great. Decisionmaking (which you could classify the pick as, if you want) is a different category.

That's great and all, but he's not on Murray or Mettenberger's level this year, not even remotely close even.
Murray - 79 for 116, 1338 yards, 11.5 YPA, 11 TD, 3 INT, 191.1 QB RAT
Mett - 81 for 128, 1398 yards, 10.9 YPA, 13 TD, 1 INT, 187.8 QB RAT
McCarron - 75 for 110, 882 yards, 8.0 YPA, 6 TD, 3 INT, 148.1 QB RAT
I think it is a fair point that McCarron hasn't been as good this year. It is good that his best game was against a top 10 team, however he's struggled behind that offensive line.
If you look at it though, Murray has played one less game than Mettenberger and has played better competition with 3 top 15 teams. I can't really see putting Mettenberger over Murray based on their on field performances.
I also don't think you can put McCarron above 4 right now. His game against aTm on the road was huge even though the Aggie defense is awful.

Mett has that Matt Schaub speed.

It doesn't matter if Mett is a statue, the best quarterbacks in the league are statues.

Give Mettenburger our O-Line and he'll revert back to his JPW form from last year. I'll keep my mouth shut on QB rankings till the end of the year.

Either Mett has better talent around him and Murray is the better qb or UGA has an equal supporting cast and Mett is the better qb. LSU fans can't have it both ways.

DL isn't really the problem. Not sure our fanbase understands this. It's the back 7.
I strongly disagree, it is very well part of the problem. What pressure did you see put on AM yesterday? I didn't see any! The D as a whole is horrible! The one yr we have a good offense, the D fricking sucks
