So you’ve watched them play 4 games against the #1 team in the country (of the 4 games only 1 was a decisive outcome) and a fluke game vs Wright State. Got it. 
Putting them below 5th is laughable unless you honestly think Arkansas isn’t a top 8 team.

Gotcha. I was thinking they seem pretty even in terms of postseason results. Same record. Both lost a game. Both crushed either a super or a regional but NC State had to play both on the road. Both finished third in their conference. Neither won conference tournament. Both conference have two teams in the CWS. Only difference is Stanford didn’t get off to a 1-8 start in conference so they ended up with a regional seed. Kinda surprised their win loss record is only three games better.
ETA: it seems weird that you were that nervous about Texas tech just because they scored 9 runs vs arky in the first game of the season

Fluke or not you almost got knocked out in your regional to wright st. Which of those teams would struggle against wright st? That's the better question. Burden of proof is on you.

You were the number 1 team in the country and lost to NC State. shite happens. Wright State was the #1 scoring offense in baseball and a top 25 RPI I believe.

Tech knocked us out last time and we barely beat them the year before. They always gives us fits. I was rooting for stanford in that regional. When they won by such a large margin in Lubbock, I started to get concerned they actually weren't anyone we wanted to face. Holding Tech to that few runs and also running it up on them is a feat

No I think you are missing the point. It was 3 wins.
We all know a series of games is the best litmus test. Arkansas couldn't beat NC state in a series for instance. I don't think Arkansas would have beaten vandy in a series. We did however beat Tennessee 3 times and but for the bottom of the 9th in one game, had them beat for 4 games. I don't know how I put you ahead of NC state with that knowledge.
Comically adding to this point, but for the bottom of the 9th against wright st, Tennessee got dominated by a team that lost series to Youngstown state and Florida gulf coast.
