You're right. It's hilarious watching mighty, arrogant Texas back down, groveling to join the SEC.
And all the "A&M is scared of Bevo" is a joke. They're just looking to preserve their recruiting edge the SEC provides.

And when a school with a “big, swinging dick” can’t see that negotiating solely for their own self-interest will not serve them well in the long run, then you name that school Texas.

This is the main reason I don't want Texas in the SEC. They're toxic with absolutely no loyalty to anyone but themselves, even in the best of situations.
They've done nothing but damage every conference they've ever been in.
