I would hope it was a mistake but would want him off the team. If it’s a mistake then he can get a second chance elsewhere.
But this is not a what if, this is quickly becoming the norm for UGA. This is quickly become 30 incidents at UGA in the last couple of years. This is attempted filicide. If the baby dies that will bring UGAs body count to 3. The arrests up above 20 and you vacantly pretend it’s just driving cars fast anymore.
If you don’t see this as a problem then you need to rethink your fandom. If you don’t see that this is a direct result of the way Kirby runs (or does handle) his program and responsibilities then you need to find help with your moral compass.

No reasonable person would want an innocent person off the team.

Most of the "30" incidents are speeding tickets.
The other domestic violence situation got the player cut from the team.
The other bad situation, caused those who created it to pay with their lives....

Wow, this thread was a swing and a miss....idiot.

You're such a hypocrite, Smokey. If this was happening at Rhode Island Tech, you wouldn't care or give it a second thought. You're on a sport's forum attacking football fans over some arrests because its an opportunity to attack a rival team that has owned your team for the last 2 decades. That's all your rambling is. You won't admit this of course, but we all know its true for you and all the other hypocrites on this cesspool of a forum using this opportunity to throw mud at the UGA program.

If “Rhode Island Tech” had 30 incidents and 20 arrests in its AD in 2 years it would be and stay in the headlines. The ESPN 30 for 30 would be in works, a national outcry/outrage over it would be deafening. But “Rhode Island Tech” likely wouldn’t threaten reporters and newspapers, have the legal department, or the throngs of useful idiots to try to pretend nothing was happening.
And you are incorrect. I’m not attacking fans because players get arrested. I’m attacking the useful idiots that want to pretend nothing is wrong, and this is normal, it happens everywhere. And I am very consistent in it. LSU stealing from a children’s hospital gets a shot anytime an LSU pretends it didn’t happen.

Wow.
Was a victim of assault and battery, was invited so no trespass nor criminal trespass, and the UGA player is the one lied to police.
Tennessee's captain was charged and plead guilty to felony assault and got a whopping two game suspension.
Why don't we wait and see how this plays out before judging?
It will be interesting to see how Georgia handles this misdemeanor charge compared to how Tennessee handled their felony assault charge.
“Colbie Young was arrested last night after he asked his ex-girlfriend to leave his apartment,” Stephens said. “He did not make any physical contact with her in any way that could ever be considered a crime. I expect Mr. Young to be fully exonerated once our investigation is complete and the truth revealed.”
Wow. Almost the same exact scenario as Jaylen McCoulough. Big differences is McCollough was dealing with a confused drunk and Young was dealing with jealous ex-girlfriend.
Say...has Tennessee addressed what they will be doing to the player that assaulted two fans last week? Let me guess. A stern talking to?

I’m anti abortion and anti cruelty to children.
I am, too, and if they find out she is telling the truth he should be kicked off the team. Instead you argue that a two game suspension for a player who plead guilty to felony assault was sufficient.
You seem to think misdemeanor charges are more serious than felonies.

And yet you wanted Jaylen McCollough to remain on the team. Seems like you are selective in who or who does not get kicked off teams. Misdemeanor? Kick them off the team!
Felony? Eh. No big deal.

Bottom line
The prominent attorney representing UGA players will negotiate a plea deal and reset the timeline.
And UGA will continue its downward trajectory.

Jaylen punched a belligerent drunk dude that broke into his apartment. Do you really feel that’s the same as attempting to cause an ex girlfriend to have a miscarriage?

None of us really feel you constant whining about UGA matters at all.

That’s were this should have ended. The false dichotomy that punching a belligerent drunk that broke into you home is the same or worse than attempting to cause a miscarriage in an ex girlfriend that you invited to your residence is sickening. You are supposed to be better than this.

Again, why do you care so much?
