Question for UGA fans concerning Fields..

I haven't really kept up with his impending transfer, I mean he didn't steal anything so I knew we wouldn't get him, but what's his deal? Is this all over playing time? Was he a problem in the locker room?

It's the racist and thug culture in Athens...at least that is what everyone should be telling recruits against the lesbian gym teacher. And it would be good karma with all the negative recruiting he's done.

I don't think he was a problem in the locker room. He just couldn't beat Fromm out and was not getting enough reps in games, so he decided to leave.
Something like 1/2 of all 5* QB's over the past few years have transferred. It happens. I hate it. I am very pleased with fromm.
There were a lot of rumors as to why he could not beat Fromm out, but I honestly believe Fromm was just ahead because of his experience, and Fields couldn't over come it.
He will probably be very good at OSU.

All about playing time. Here's a link to him venting his frustration after the USCjr win. I can't say that he was a locker room cancer, but this video clip doesn't shout "team player" either.

OH St will be really dangerous year after next
he probably plays 2 years and goes pro
at UGA it looks like he would only get to start 1 year UNLESS Fromm jumps to the NFL after next year

I hate UGA but this is exactly over PT and he is using the race card as a hope to get granted immediate elegibility. Hope he doesn't get it

No problem. When somebody asks an honest question I try to give an honest answer.
That said, Georgia had a baseball player sitting in the stands at a game yell, "Put the N-word in the game!"
No way fields could have heard it, but it got a lot of play in the media. (The baseball player was kicked off the baseball team, and I heard (unsubstantiated) that he is transferring to OSU as well, which would be interesting.
It is thought that this incident would be used to get Fields a waiver for transferring.

I can assure you, he has heard it on the field far more than on campus. Anybody who has played the game can tell you that. 
It's a way to try to get immediate eligibility. I mean, I get it. He wants to start playing to develop his talents and get to the NFL as soon as possible. It's worth millions of dollars to him.
