If the offenses score this time around the idiots on TV will just say "see, those defenses aren't that great after all".

procedural penalties, holding, etc. i credit the defense for causing dropped passes (they get hesitant with big hits coming) and holdings obviously are a credit to the defense.

I'm talking about getting away from what was working. Reverses that lose 10 yards and then still kicking the field goal. Trying to get Lacey to the edge over and over again and losing yards every time 
and still kicking the field goal. Throwing INTs with a WR on 1st and 10 from the 25 when you just moved the ball all the way down the field. Stupid shite.

Both teams had self-inflicted wounds on drives. LSU had a false start kill all momentum on their drive after the second Lee INT/ second Bama FG. They were moving it at will there.
That said, it wasn't all self-inflicted. I'd blame one long field goal on self-inflicted wounds for Bama. Remember that this happened to you guys at home where there is no excuse for those types of mistakes. It won't be the same advantage for Bama in NOLA.
LSU also missed tons of tackles and slipped up which aided Bama's offense. LSU had a ton of missed tackles that pushed your drives forward.
Again, both teams shot themselves in the foot. LSU should've scored a TD going into the half, but screwups held them to 3.

Missed tackles? On who, Trent? Where the game was played had nothing to do with the play calls Alabama went with. It was unbelievable what they did.

You moved the ball on 4 big plays, of which two were the results of missed tackles.
The two passes to Richardson on blown coverages, his big run in the fourth off a broken tackle that should've been stopped for a 3 yard gain or less, and the jailbreak screen to Maze where our safety was there and missed the tackle.
That said, both teams played tight.

Just like Bama plays the whole "make the field goal" angle, I think if you take away 2 of the worst throws Lee has made since he was a freshman, and the horrible TD drop by Randle, LSU easily could have won by 7-10 points.
No reason not to feel very confident in this one since it's in our backyard.

My favorite moments are the busted plays where he will just flip it out with his left hand or shovel pass. We usually get about 5-7 yards on a play we should have lost 8

Actually it could. This time around hatchet likely won't be at the first point of attack. Minter is solid at wrapping up, and will limit the broken tackles at MLB.

Everyone was mad at him for that weird looking toss/pass that he had against Arky, the one that was almost picked. Well hell there was a 84.67% chance it was gonna be a huge play. That's just how he rolls.
