My bad. The fourth quarter came and Johnson fumbled the ball on the first play. So, you had the ball for one play to start the fourth quarter, fumbled it and we scored.

I wasn’t even thought of when UGA won their last title. I was 2 when Tech won their last title however

Unless you're Alabama, you have to put up a decent reusme, win the SECCG, and beat a Top 4 team to make it to the title game.
In the BCS era, you just had to put up a decent resume and win the SECCG (again, unless you're Alabama).
Do you see where there is a new variable added?

Also, don’t forget that all of UGA’s rivals have more recent, and more total national titles than the Dawgs. ( Auburn, Tech, Florida, and Tennessee. Clemson is about to lap them as well).

I often find myself reminiscing to the halcyon days of 28 years ago and fretting over the fact that Tech shared a national title with Colorado. Doesn't matter that we've beaten them 21 times since. I just can't sleep at night knowing that 28 years ago they won the Citrus Bowl and a shared title.
