Dummy 1: "Let's run the worm down the creek instead of doing normal shite, I need to get some money."
Dummy 2: "Sounds great, lets get on that."
Flash forward
Dummy 2: "That didn't work, I'm so mad."
Scene.

No, but I don't blame you for judging an entire state from a random TV show. That's why I assume all Texans know karate and are terrible at emoting...
Just a question not an insinuation. I suck at karate as I used this video as my instruction (36 second mark).
cky chinese freestyle
I guess I should have paid more attention to Chuck Norris. I only emote when I shite my pants in public.

The phone was used to call Knoxville and Middlesboro, KY but the entire county would come to the house and use it (likely earning a LOT of goodwill). Middlesboro was a key smuggling point - from there it would make it's way North (FWIW, this is still a smuggling point for illegal drugs as you can go from South to North.) Knoxville was the other smuggling point.
Mobster Jack Zuta was from Middlesboro and worked as a mob greaser and as Capone's 'accountant' among other things in Chicago (he was killed by Capone's men after he was picked up by police for questioning). After his death, Zuta's 'accounting' (records showing bribes to judges and politicians) helped the Feds put Capone away. Zuta's grave is in Middlesboro.
My great-grandfather's farm/operation was smack dab in the middle of Thunder Road making it easy to transport to both Knoxville and Middlesboro.

... you forgot about them wearing big belt buckles to over compensate for their little dicks along with the horns on the hoods of their vehicles - but I lol'd anyways.
Oh, and yeah, about the moonshiners. We've got all kinds if them around here making peach moonshine, which I personally prefer over the apple pie stuff ... but to each his own. Just bought a couple of quarts of muscadine shine the other day but I'm letting them ferment until this time next year ... and that ever clear junk everyone is passing off these days is not true corn liqour moonshine.

That's actually a cool story prof ... moonshine is making a comeback BTW. Underground and with air filters I hear ... but I wouldn't really know having never actually seen one down there while it was fired up and before they got the grain elevator installed and the plumbing connected and all. And these days with the water filters ... they've got it down to a science.
I watched that moon shining show a few times a couple of yrs ago ... it's all staged.
I'm waiting for the day when they do reality shows on snuff vids in Texas ... I hear it's big down there along the border.

Thanks Scrooster. And I'm sure you've never ever been around such activity...
And yes, I've had some of your Carolina Brewed Peach Shine and it's wonderful. A step-relative of mine in SC makes it. He brought some of it with him one day and I was honestly a little suspicious of how it would taste and whether or not I'd like it but wow it was good!

These guys are from my hometown in Spartanburg SC. Actually just sat next to Bill in a bar last weekend when I was back for Thanksgiving. Bill used to be a huge metalhead, sported a mohawk and ran the door at a music venue. i was suprised to see him on TV years later as a hillbilly.

I think their names are Josh and Bill. Those two have failed for 2 years. They could frick up a wet dream. They need to get Jim Tom to tutor them.
Those poor guys are terrible. They need to let Cutie Pie take over. I can't wait to see how Tickle fracks shhtuff up this year.

Redneck/Hillbilly-sploitation is a huge and very profitable business right now. Duck Dynasty is probably the best example -- it's full of 2nd generation rich-people but hell just grow a beard and up the accent (even if you never had one) and make even more money.
What angers me though, is that a lot of folks outside the South think everyone acts like what they see on countless redneck-sploitation 'reality shows' just like they thought everyone acted like the Duke Boys or Beverly Hillbillies.

Those boys are from the Clemson part of the state. One of them had on a Clemson hat one episode. Pickens county's finest

Chaps my arse too. I keep thinking we need to start a redneck defamation defense league like the Italians and Jews and Muslims and Blacks have ... but then I think, nah, to hell with'em.
I am happy for the Duck Commanders though - they're pretty smart old boys. I rarely watch, and then only when my grandson is around, but still, I did see one of them on the Christmas CMS show the other night and thought it was well done.

Pawley's is ok. Hit or miss. Not mindblowing like a lot of people seem to say.
In my humble opinion, of course.
