for weeks prior to November 5 all that was said was that the LSU vs Bama game was the defacto national championship game.

Why have your thoughts changed on that?

You're right, we shouldn't want another shot. We shouldn't want to play for national title.

As in, they were the 2 best teams in the country. They still are. Our thoughts haven't changed.

Because they knew beyond a shadow of doubt they would win. Just like the rematch.

No, no. Its alright. It was a forgivable loss which balances out OSU's much better wins. Its ok people, its ok.

so you still agree that the winner of the November 5 game will win the national title?

Sure, I'll humor you.

I would say it changed when Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Boise State, Oregon, and Stanford all lost since that game. Seems rational enough.

Calling Nov the NC is hyperbole. Do you need a definition for that?

Why don't you start a thread about that arse kicking we gave you instead of worrying about our next NC appearance?

Pretty sure that was the press calling it "the game of the century" and "defacto national title game."
Alabama simply wants to play football. Seems to the rest of the nation, and the majority of the press and voters , that they're playing it well enough to play for the NC. Deal with it.

Gumps want a mulligan...

Just forget about 11/5/2011. Let's play again and hope for a different outcome.

That is pretty much it
