If you were still in the Big 12, would you be undefeated right now? You'd probably have beaten Kansas St. and might be #1.

No. Secondary is not good enough for Big 12 passing attacks. SEC schools we played just don't have the right type of passing attacks to exploit us fully.

Possibly...I'd rather compete against the best in the SEC and then beat the everlivin' shite out of BigWTF, B1G and Pac schools in the bowl season.

You grossly underestimate the power of the BOMC. The Texas-centric media would NEVER allow A&M to be the #1 team. Furthermore, the big 12 refs would find a way to keep A&M from being undefeated, because it would destroy half the conferences recruiting (OU and Okie State are the biggest concern).

No. Without the Florida and LSU games, we wouldn't have been prepared to run the table.

We probably would have played K-State early in the season when we weren't as good, lost to them, and then not only would we have not played for a national championship, we would still be in the Big XII.

I don't think so. Our defense is much better suited for SEC play than Big 12 play.

Yep, we lack some defensive depth that we need. We are fortunate offense can keep our defense off the field for stretches at a time. Depth on the line is coming.
Defense is improving and we have some great young players and plenty more on the way. Defense is only going to get better against run and pass.
Ags are going to be pretty strong next year on both sides of the ball. We will also be able to score points once again... lots of them.
