Coldest game ever. frick that game. The wind was howling at the top of the north endzone in TS. I froze my arse off despite the copious amounts of bourbon. I'd rather watch JJ command the offense again on 1/9 than relive that one!

Long time no see.
I only remember a few things from that game.
1. It was cold as frick. I remember my wearing snowlike layers. My knees, hands, and feet were numb the next day
2. Matt Mauck was injured for the season in the UF game(Saban kept him in WAYYY too long)
3. Your offense rushed for something like 300 yards. We could not stop the run to save our lives.
4. Bama controlled TOP and the clock the entire game.
5. Randall was awful.
6. ST miscues
7. 10 or 12 Penalties killed whatever drive we had.
We were not a true top 10 team even with Mauck in 2002. The talent was there, as it showed in 03, but it was inexperienced.
Not even the staff of Saban, Dooley, Fisher, and Muschamp could help that night.
Hope that helps

That 2002 Alabama team was loaded. A better coach has them competing for championships, if they were eligible. Granted, if they were eligible, they were going to Atlanta that season. We should have never lost to Georgia and Auburn at home.

Did LSU have a ton of injuries or what?
No, Saban was talking shite about Bama and Fran after the UK game and Fran caught wind of it. He had his team take out all its frustrations out on LSU then he almost bitch-slapped Saban at midfield after the game. Allegedly....

It seems odd that an Alabama team coached by Fran would beat a Saban coached LSU team 31-0 in tiger stadium.
We got outcoached

I was there. It was misreably cold and we could not stop Tyler Watts running the QB draw or both the Bama RB's. Rushed for over 300 yards. Sucked.
