You didn’t understand the assignment

Tech played that miserable schedule of Pine Bluff, Ok St, Oregon State, Kent State.

Notthwestern wasn’t a bad team.

Montana St is about to win the FCS

No I understood what you said...I'm still waiting for you to point out any team ranked higher than BYU at the end of the season on your schedule that you beat. If you cant, your team is a joke....plain and simple.

If your only criteria is who has the highest ranked win according to the committee, so be it.

Let’s ignore the rest of the schedule, that USC would be favored against BYU on a neutral site, and that ESPN and other analysts give Oregon a substantially better strength of record.

It’s an extremely oversimplified analysis.

Youre just beyond stupid. USC would not be favored against BYU on a Neutral site. Just like your Oregon didnt play a hard schedule.

SP+ and FEI have USC higher and those are more predictive than the committee’s rankings with regards to odds.

USC would most likely be -4.5 on a neutral site

Nope. But lets see how your Ducks do against Tech and this will settle this argument. Thats the easiest way....good luck.

Explain why you think BYU would be favored?

This isn’t hard. You can use simulators to do the work for you.

The line would favor USC if they played tomorrow on a neutral field.

Tech will have to calibrate on January 1 and not the Ducks.

I personally think none of this matters as far as results. Tech is a damn good football team.

Proof is in the pudding...lets see if your Ducks can beat Tech....as Ive already stated...your Duck team has played a soft schedule and that is fact so dont think youre gonna walk all over Tech.

I don’t think Oregon will boat race them.

Two things can be true:

1) Oregon played a tougher schedule

2) The game will be competitive

BYU finished higher than any team you beat in the rankings....that is fact. So how do you think Oregon's schedule was harder?

I wouldn't try to reason with him, if Tech beats Oregon we're going to see a massive crash out. Utah fans have been rallying behind the Ducks, it's kinda strange.

Underwood- yeah, I just like to argue a little bit.....but if his/her Ducks lose....I wont be here gloating or make a thread about it because I really wont give a shite.

I think one of the more unfortunate aspects of the game is the layoff.

It’s a big advantage of the Ducks. Tech has my respect. They were head and shoulders better than anyone in their league except the aberration that was ASU.

So, if Oregon wins I won’t necessarily gloat.

Yours are pretty solid predictions. I’m not sure UGA gives up 31 this time around since we’ve been playing great defense the last few games

I agree, but for some reason, I tend to be a bit of a pessimist when it comes to big games for Georgia.

I could see them wanting to prove they can be good without Kiffin, and wanting to prove the first game was a bit of a fluke, so I can see them coming out motivated. I can also see Georgia coming out flat after having 3 weeks off and having beaten Ole Miss earlier in the year.

I sure hope you are right and it turns out to be an easy game with little to no injuries.

I see people citing this a lot, but seriously?

Arizona State
Boise
were both very poor teams and got a bye because they won their conference.

Georgia had a QB in his first start because of an injury.

Oregon ran into a buzz saw in Ohio State who ended up winning the entire thing. I think people are reading way to much into last years results.
