Tennessee, bless their hearts, are falling all over themselves to compare stats to Daddy. Why wouldn’t they discuss 2020 bama? After all, it was a more recent season. Recency bias should garner at least a few comparisons, right? Nope, not a one.

Anyone who actually believes 2020 Bama stands with the greats of all time is a joke. There was no off season, players opted out, season was shortened, the fricking national championship runner up played 8 games.
The national champion should stand, but anyone who seriously considers that Bama team one of the best does not understand the game.

Congrats..Lsu had an amazing year in 2019..no problem calling them the best team ever..now what? Does that distinction make their 2019 season count any more than Ga's last year? Or Bama in 2020? Does it matter to anybody other than Lsu fans? I'm all for calling their 2019 season the best ever!! I think most Bama fans wouldn't trade the greatest program in history for the greatest season in history so good for Lsu..2019 is the best season ever!!

How do you know that? COVID-19 ruined many teams and lack of practice and no Spring game. Not all were at full strength during the COVID-19. That is why I would call it a washup season. Look at what Drinkwitz did! Beating LSU!

The best offensive player (Chase) and defensive player (Parsons) didn’t play in the fake season. The NCAA doesn’t even recognize it as a real season - didn’t count.

As a WKU grad, I’ve been saying an NFL team would’ve been wise to take Zappe late in the draft instead of wasting a 1st or 2nd on the quarterbacks that did go that early

True. Nobody says it was Bama’s fault, but the fact remains, Bama’s 2020 season is not equivalent to 2019 LSU. Sorry we were so bad it kept you out of the greatest season ever conversation.
