If you're pushing them as a charity, no way in hell I would donate to them.
I'll give to local churches, not some leftist money laundering outfit.

Most churches give all donations to the cause. I know ours will. It is important to give to the right place.

Nothing like a Tennessee fan who can't let his personal biases get in his own way. World Central Kitchen does all kinds of great work and has at multiple locations in the US. Just because they also work on a global level doesn't mean they're a "leftist money laundering outfit".
ETA: Samaritan's Purse is another. They're not a "local church" but they're also on the ground in WNC. Doesn't mean they're a right-wing money laundering outfit because they're not "local".

Yay, give to 'world central kitchens' and pay the outrageous salaries of their board of directors
No thanks, I'll give directly to local churches.

If there is concern that FEMA doesn't have enough funds at the moment to manage the disaster, then Speaker Johnson (R-La.) could call a special session to increase the funding. He has chosen not to do so through this point.
Why isn't the question - where did all the FEMA funding go, rather than printing up even more money, adding to the debt and causing inflation?
Somehow it's Johnson(who is a big government puppet and sucks arse) who is at fault for not doing these things?
Seems interesting to me that nobody gives a shite what happened to the money it was given this year. Have we had that many disasters this year? Doesn't seem like a high amount. 2 hurricanes I'm thinking, and we don't have funding for the 2nd?

That IS the question. It's just not the question that the America-haters want to answer.

There's been some rightful discussion on money spent for the SSP, but it's a small share of the overall budget.
My guess? They assume what the budget needs before disasters occur. Even if the general number of incidents requiring FEMA assistance (flooding, wildfires, hurricanes, tornados, etc.) stayed the same, I'm sure the general cost of maintaining services and rebuilding has gone up like everything else.

shill
we know where the money went.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) allocated nearly $364 million in the fiscal year 2023 and $650 million for the 2024 fiscal year to the “Shelter and Services Program” “to provide humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants following their release from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS),” according to the government’s website.
Over a billion dollars went to illegals in the last two years. All straight out of FEMA's coffers.

It's ok, everyone knows where the money has gone and what the priorities of the government are.
It's not just the budget of FEMA, it's all of government spending. The money is going to foreign countries, to illegal aliens, to wasteful spending and to corruption. They just print up money, they do it as debt that is due back with interest, and in the process cause inflation making as you said - everything more expensive.
So I just don't see how more debt and printing money that causes the inflation and makes it harder for people to live is the solution. Maybe the real solution is to #1 stop pretending a private bank should be allowed to print up money as debt when it gets it's value from the existing currency and to stop using the American tax payer as an economic slave to the agenda of the parasite class that does not even remotely benefit the people themselves.
With as much wealth that is stolen from the American people on a yearly basis, this kind of thing is inexcusable. A product of greed and corruption. And again, more debt and inflation is not the answer. A proper use of the resources is, most of which should remain in the hands of the citizens to start with.

Now what about the illegals that are involved in the floods and destruction? They are still people and all that aid given to them won’t help them now. WNC and Eastern TN have a large percentage of Hispanic migrant workers in case you haven’t known it

That meme is pretty disingenuous. Illegals only got about $2 million from FEMA and the other $998,000,000 was siphoned off by democrats, NGO's, etc.

How about they should have never got it in the first place and the people who have done this should be held responsible for their actions?
What we are seeing are the results of their decisions and policies and trying to pass the buck over to "don't blame the illegal aliens they advertised and shipped around at your expense" is total bullshite. Nobody is blaming them, they are blaming the people who allowed it to happen to start with, and who's entire agenda is based around doing it for political power. These policies are bullshite and strains the resources of towns even without these other events.
But I'm supposed to pretend otherwise? Hope I do.

Blame the politicians, genius. Don’t blame the people for being here. People like you won’t do shite like actually vote out the crooks though. You’ll just bitch about the people here for handouts

What are you talking about? If it was up to me 95% of the federal government would not exist. The fact you think you can actually "vote out the crooks" rather than recognizing the fact you shouldn't be giving these people the power over you to begin with highlights YOU are the one that is part of the problem.
For example - why the hell should they have the power to take your wealth and send it overseas to any country? You are free to start a gofundme, but for some reason because 51% of the people voted in some person, it's ok for them to steal from your wallet? bullshite, why do you accept it?
Why the hell should they have the power to take your wealth and give it to illegal aliens to begin with? You can donate, but you think it's ok to force others. That's all government is, a way to force people.
Why the hell should they have the power to force you to take a vaccine, or any other medication?
And so on.
You are the one that gives up your power to them and then complains about what they do, not me.
The federal government should be limited to the powers given in the constitution and nothing further. Provide a common defense, ease trade between states with standards of measurements, create and manage the currency(not allow a private bank to issue money as debt which is bullshite) and so on.
That is IT. Per the 10th amendment, the bulk of domestic issues should be on the state level and on down to the individual choice, aka liberty.
Republicans are red,
Democrats are blue,
Neither one of them gives a frick about you.
