Nope, not at all. I 100% agree that they have a good baseball program. Where we disagree on states baseball program is I don't see them ever being a great baseball program and winning a natty. Especially not bc they have condos in their outfield lol. State has always had one of the best baseball stadiums in the nation, even before the new dudy noble. They've always had good fan support for baseball, which is nothing new for them. They have had some really good players come through their baseball program as well. However, they have never won it all, and I just don't see it happening anytime soon, especially in the sec west, where they have to compete against proven, legitimately great programs such as LSU (in their own division), Vanderbilt, Florida, and South carolina...teams that have all won national titles pretty recently. It will continue to be an uphill battle for them solely for that reason alone. Even this season, when LSU clearly wasn't good (at least to our standards), we still won the series at state...regardless of all the hype that state had with the new stadium and one of their best teams ever. All I'm saying is, that if I were to put money on states future chances of winning a natty or not in my lifetime, based on the past, I would have to put money on them continuing to yield more of the same results...which is no natty. They still deserve props for the season they had. They have a good baseball program, but not great. This is just my opinion, and I could be wrong eventually, but it is what it is. That is all.

A State sports writer who's hobby is hating Ole Miss found the phone records and gave them to Houston's attorney, so again the hate is all State.

LSU fans will melt, but it’s true.

No, it's not. Moo U has a beautiful new park. Alex Box is already over 10 years old.
When the new Box was built it was arguably the finest college baseball stadium in the country. Times change.

And then you treated it like a nascar, slapping sticker ads on every square inch.

Jake Mangum may be my favorite all time MSU athlete.

Guy has heart and determination and is just an all around great guy.

I’m glad y’all lost tonight, but I do know it’s only a matter of time, and I for once in my life look forward to visiting Starkville for a OM/State baseball game.

Well come on this year. Will be packed and a great atmosphere.

And that is a major gripe among the fans. Y'all aren't pointing out anything about The Box we don't already know.

I was pulling for State hard and was very disappointed in the 9th inning. Good run though.

I think LSU fans knows that they need to upgrade. However, Arkansas fans are in denial about their ballpark

Using your shitty logic, State won 2/3 series against those legitimately great programs and belongs among the elite programs. I mean I get it. LSU is stuck with Mainieri playing in Tony Chachere Stadium. Your weekend series in Starkville was the climax of your season. I’d be hoping and praying State doesn’t break through that glass ceiling soon too.

I guess I missed where anyone needs to point out anything other than tackiness.
