If Kiffin sucks so bad then why did OM and UF both throw the checkbook at him ?
Really good question.

How many titles has lane won in his years as a head coach?

Zero, like the last three that won them here.

Don't think for one second, that Saban hasn't reiterated to him how much he regrets leaving LSU. Yes he may leave at some point. But after how many national championships?

The reality is LSU, with its recruiting in Louisiana and Houston alone is more than programs can wish for. It’s an NFL factory down there and they’ll do everything to maintain it. They could literally own the Houston recruiting market again if they started winning.

The only jobs better than LSU imo are Ohio State at its prime and maybe Texas. Florida/USC 20 years ago sure.

But while Louisiana can take a victory lap now, they shouldn't ignore that nagging feeling for too long. Because the Kiffin we're seeing right now is the Kiffin they're getting, warts and all, and it's only a matter of time before what's best for Lane might not be what's best for LSU.

Why would a Texas fan be so emotionally involved in LSU hiring a new coach

Is it the Austin thing?
I know ya’ll are emotional people

Not pissed. I’m simply sharing an article. I do empathize with Ole Miss fans somewhat with what happened with Riley, but hell, that wasn’t nearly this bad.
