These guys are pretty good and been following for a month.
Cliffs

They have Top 8

1.)TX
2.) LSU
3.) AR
4.)AU
5.)Vandy
6.)GA
7.)UNC
8.)FSU

They have FL as a 2 seed at FSU. That could change based on this weekend.Ole Miss going to Eugene and Ms State as 3 seed at TCU

Arky vs TN super would be a fun watch. Chippy it would be.

The top 6 seeds all from the SEC and the other 2 teams from the south?

I’m guessing a west coast team nabs a spot someone.

They are SEC heavy in their coverage but do pretty good analysis.

The problem with west coast teams UCLA and OSU is they have losing records in Q1 games. UCLA is 3-7 and OSU is 5-8. They are the only top 12 RPI teams with losing records against Q1.

Oregon has a 9-1 Q1 record but 9-3 Q4 record. Those Q4 loses kill them.

Yeah, Oregon has an RPI of 19 and SOS of 39. Just really hard to justify including them in a top 8 over one of the 6 SEC squads mentioned. UNC and FSU don’t hve great SOS but theyre 11 and 9 respectively in RPI and have respectable records vs Q1 teams.

On paper, there’s just really not a good argument to leave all 6 SEC squads out of the top 8 but we’ve seen them play the geography game too many times before to feel confident they’ll allow more than 5. Hope they surprise us and do the logical thing

While deserving, I still don’t believe the committee will give the SEC 6 national seeds.

I think it’ll be 5 bids for the SEC, 2 bids for the ACC and a pity bid for Oregon/Oregon State/UCLA
