I think part of that is that people expected him to duplicate the success NR had at Arkansas once he got to Mizzou and that just didn't happen. hell I don't know if he could do so here at Arkansas. I'm willing to find out though.
And I think Arkansas needs him to win as well. I'm not sure someone like Self or Coach K could win here. They rely on elite basketball players to win , and I'm not sure Arkansas can get enough of those elite basketball players to win big.
If hired he needs to go back to NR's roots. Recruit the athletic studs who aren't prototypical ball players, but who can just run people into the ground until they just have nothing left to give. Plenty of those kids who can and would come to Arkansas if we had a winning program.
PS - We seem to be short one Arkansas poster tonight???

I heard about that. Maybe they read Hogville and felt like being assholes because they write the paper and could be? Sounds like something I would do.

In all honesty man,no one knows what the hell is going on. Tons of people THINK they do, just like they THOUGHT Jim Grobe was our next football coach, look how that turned out. I just keep an open mind and take in everything and just hope we make the right hire.
