Fact is, nobody really knows what is going on. What i'm saying is just what I'm being told, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. Long and company is playing this very close to the vest, and a select few know exactly what is going on. Just sit back and watch it play out.

Did the Star Telegram ever follow up on their report? I know Billy Clyde didn't leak the anything. I still think it's going to be a blindside hire. I originally thought Cuonzo, Buzz, and Dixon were the front runners, but is Howland married to UCLA? I don't think it would be him, but that type of name/coach will probably be the guy. Someone with a Final 4 and looking to move just to get visibility of the Southeastern Conference.

The Star Telegram jumped the gun. There was indeed some informal contact with Tubby, but they went wayyyyyyyyy to far saying we were close to announcing him head coach.
