Day, Cleveland, Thurman on the bench - Zimmerman will be in Basketball Operations primarily

I'm not one to rain on the parade but neither Day nor Thurman have college coaching experience so that does make me a little nervous. As long as they can recruit we should be good but still I'm hesitant.

Day and Thurman may not have any college coaching experience but can you name any other people who could bring back the tradition and know the system as well as mike anderson?

No and that's a huge plus. I like having the youth out on the recruiting trail too. Sure beats the likes of 50-60 year old guys. They should have more enthusiasm and relate to the kids better.

yup they know the system and are young enough to relate, those are huge pluses. Thats really all assistants are for, i know they help prepare but i'm sure they haven't forgotten what nolan did to make them great.
