He is the current coach at Wichita State, he was the coach at Winthrop when they were making the NCAA tournament like every year.
He will soon be coaching at a school in one of the big 6 conferences...

Personally I think that Marshall is the best mid-major coach in America and would be a great hire at any of the big 6 conference schools. Im a Stansbury supporter but if he were to go Id want Gregg Marshall to get the first interview.

But you can see why Arkansas is hesistant on hiring another mid major coach. We are 0-2 in hiring them in the last 2 tries.

I would take Marshall over the kentucky retreads and unproven commodities being tossed around right now...

All mid major coaches are not the same, Heath had one year of experience and Pel has 2 years with winning records out of 5 to go along with APR penalties.
Marshall should be insulted to be compared to these two...
