Speaking of fond memories, I first realized Arkansas basketball was on the map in 1976. That was when one of Eddie Sutton's early teams put the whoop on a favored Houston team, 92-47. It just wasn't supposed to happen. They beat us by 1 point in a later game, but by that time, there was no stopping us. By that time, Arkansas fans were rapidly becoming infected with incurable enthusiasm.
