It is more the premise that his has "drug out", when in fact the job has been open for 8 days...
Another rumor being spread is that Long is putting out "feelers" for the coaches to the recruits.
I believe this because none of this information passed along to the recruits has been shared and made its way to internets.

So, the recruits, get the "feeler"
and call Coach Crawford for his opinion. I'm just spitballing here. Coach Crawford apparently, can't utter anyone's name except Doc Sadler and Tim Floyd. I truly hope Ron Crawford has no affect on this coaching search.

So... I did a little reading tonight.
Apparently, Buzz is OU's number one target, the are prepared to pay around 2 - 2.5 mil a year for him or a little more of needed.
Buzz will be at OU next year if not Marquette. It is nice for OU and Texas Tech to be taking the bullets instead of us for a change...
This is one bidding war Long should not enter, let OU have their next Caple...

You'd have to think Marquette is the bidder to drive Buzz's price that high. Tennessee?
If we won't pay $2.3 for Mike, we can't bid $2.3+ for Buzz. Long would be stoned.
