I just do not think it will be MA at the end of the day, I have been hearing Long does want to hire someone else. However, MA would excite the fan base for sure. Blast from the past.

So, If Long is making an offer to MA for appearances, but wants someone else, it would have to be a splashy hire.

Marquette went down early to Syracuse but came back and now leads by 3 at half. Buzz might be a little goofy, but it seems like he can coach a basketball team fairly well.

I'd easily take Anderson or Howland over Buzz. But he's not a bad "second tier" choice, IMO.
