42 days before college football kicks off and you start a basketball rivalry thread????

Mizzou is officially in the SEC now. You need to act like it.

I've been lurking around here long enough to see that if the SEC was a high school then Arky would be the insecure girl who begs for attention and MIZ is the new guy that shows up and bends that arse over.

You don't get to be the school that identifies its athletic reputation through basketball rather than football.

We've already got one of those, and frankly, that's more than enough.

You're just gonna have to be known for sucking at football and nothing else.

Welcome to the SEC.

Why dont you just worry about getting a winning record against us first, before all the tough talk.

Why the venom toward our new member bro? I really think that Mizzou will show that they belong here this very first season. They aren't going to roll over for any team. Don't underestimate Mizzou or A&M.

I don't have any venom. Just harsh truth sometimes

I think the fact that as we're fast approaching football season (Missouri's first ever SEC football season!) we have this thread about Mizzou basketball kind of says otherwise.

It's not an issue of rolling over or heart. Missouri simply doesn't have the depth, size on the line, or speed to be a good SEC team right now. I don't doubt they'll develop this in the future. But this season? No. Missouri won't be very good.

the "rivalry" starts in basketball since we don't get you on the football field this year.

We might not ever play. I figure about half way through conference Mizzou players will be beggin' to get back into the BigWhatever. I don't think they can adapt to a conference that plays all 11 on defense.

Kentucky pretty much hijacked. This was supposed to be about MIZ Arky, but that's ok. Because we WILL play Kentucky in both fall and winter and I predict a clean sweep. Nothing to see here.
