The tiger rant apparently thinks that they will hire a tier one coach and be able to insist that he keep certain assistants.
Personally I don't see that happening. No top coach is going to take a job where he is forced to keep certain assistants. He will want to bring in his guys or will take a job where he can.

Only a moron wouldn't keep aranda.

Depends on who the new coach is but its not like there is not precedent for keeping an assistant. Bud Foster being retained by Fuente is a recent example

If they interview coaches and at any point in the interview they say they don't want aranda the interview should be stopped on the spot. He is far and away the best DC in the country. If they don't see that they can't run the program. Miles kept jimbo on staff when he was hired. Obviously it didn't work out with jimbo not wanting miles meddling in the offense but it's not that unheard of.

Foster is a fixture at VaTech so that's definitely an exception to the rule.
And Fuente is not a name that pops in my head when I think tier one coach.
But your exception to the rule is noted.

not sure he would leave LSU unless the new guy does not want him. and you know if O is the man he will keep him
Whoever the new coach is, they better not let Aranda go. He is the real deal. You are right in that the melt would be huge if he was let go/left.

Not if L6u fires Coach Oeaux when they lose to either Ark or UF and names Aranda the new IHC.

False.
He went from Wisconsin to LSU.

I think any coach that comes in would be hard pressed to get rid of Aranda. Guy is a superstar in the making and there are not too many guys that would be consider an upgrade.
Obviously if the new guy wants to bring in somebody else it will be his call but from a common sense point of view,if any coach from this staff were to be kept it would be him.
