And then you would be wrong. more often than not we finish higher.

Georgia's Preseason and Post-season rankings of the past 7 years:

AP poll:
2014- Preseason (12) Post-season (13)
2013- Preseason (5) Post-season (NR)
2012- Preseason (6) Post-season (5)
2011- Preseason (19) Post-season (19)
2010- Preseason (23) Post-season (NR)
2009- Preseason (13) Post-season (NR)
2008- Preseason (1) Post-season (13)

USA poll:
2014- Preseason (8) Post-season (9)
2013- Preseason (5) Post-season (NR)
2012- Preseason (6) Post-season (4)
2011- Preseason (22) Post-season (20)
2010- Preseason (21) Post-season (NR)
2009- Preseason (14) Post-season (NR)
2008- Preseason (1) Post-season (10)

So you guys barely beat the predictions twice in the last 7 years. Otherwise, you guys are the most hyped team. It's amazing how high of rankings you get coming off of seasons where you weren't ranked at the end of the season.

One of the craziest seasons of all time when combining incompetent refs, key injuries, and blind luck. Before all that bs, we were ranked about right where we started at the end of September.

I see Mississippi State getting into the top 10, as I had them at 6. The reason is not because I think they'll end up that way, but based on the media hype they are getting. Dak returning, etc.

What hype has State gotten?

They lost quite a bit. Most experts seem to put them 6-6 to 8-4

They aren't getting much hype at all actually. A lot of people have them 15-20ish more than likely because of their 1-3 finish last year and some of the talent they're losing

Yet, we return some of the biggest playmakers in the SEC. 6-6 is a fricking joke. I will permaban myself if that happens . Think about all the teams that Mullen had that went 7-5 and 8-4 with QB's like Tyler Russell and Chris Relf. Now put a Heisman contender behind center and there is literally a 0 percent chance of us losing more than 4 games.

I don't know if that was a direct response to me but I didn't say anything about 6-6/7-5. I pointed out to another poster that said yall were getting a lot of hype that yall actually weren't getting a lot of hype at all. I've said before on the Reb board that I see yall at 8-4/9-3
