Mizzou doesn’t have the offense that ole miss has as a whole. But mizzou will have the best player on the field in Burden. I see burden going for 200 by himself.

I think the offenses are closer than the defenses though. Your best strength attacks our worse weakness very well.

That says a lot about the state of defensive play in college football.
We can't get pressure on the QB or cover the deep ball. I was at the Vandy game. We did'nt even touch the QB until garbage time with 3 minutes left.

I had a great view and watched the D line all game. They were great against the run but could not generate any pass rush even when we blitzed.

34th in sacks. Not quite as good as last year, but still solid.
Our safeties have been burned too many times especially considering how experienced they are. If they can fix the deep ball coverage it can still be a very good defense, but LSU will definitely be by far the best passing offense we’ll face.

This is an interesting game bc Mizzou has all Americans at LB. This will be the best LB core LSU has played this year. I don’t know how that will play out. Can they control JD? Maybe, will be a good game

Our linebackers are very good. Fast. Solid tacklers. Not a lot of yards after the catch.

We’ve got a lot of players on defense. No doubt. There are several pros on that side. It’s essentially the same group from last year that was the #4 defense in the SEC. Did have significant losses at DE though. There is more there than what we’ve seen I think.
