Colorado would get destroyed in the playoffs. They got their arse kicked by Nebraska who cant even make a bowl in the B1G
Big 12 and ACC are both complete shite this year
B1G has 2 great teams and 2 good teams
SEC has a handful of teams that are teetering between good and great and a lot of good teams
SEC gets screwed by far most in this playoff format

Thats getting screwed. Assuming USC doesnt shite the bed the SEC will have 6 teams worthy of being in the playoffs by the end of the regular season

There are only 2 power conferences now. 26 of the top 30 earning ADs are either in the SEC or B1G, in the era of paying players and NIL the other conferences are too poor.
FSU is going to be stuck with Norvell buttfugging their program for several years with his buyout. Clemson doesnt have the donor base to compete in NIL even if Dabo believed in the portal. Not a single marquee or relevant program in either conference (Big 12/ACC). Miami is Nebraska without the fan passion
Few years of this playoff bullshite giving make a wish programs slots (and then getting pulverized) and we will likely end up with a super conference
