Yes, No, Yes, Yes, No

Texas A&M may technically be in the same league as Auburn, but they aren't in the same league as Auburn.

Arky has a cardboard cutout as a head coach.

We will probably lose this game.

It's at JHS and BMFP is gone. We win this game.

I'm saying tossup, we have the potential to pull the upset cause it's at JHS.

We will probably lose this game as well, but it's the IB, anything can happen. It's also at out home-away-from-home.

I'd put the Clemson and Missippi State games at 50/50. I'd say 1-1.

ULM should be a win unless you pull a Bama.

LSU should be an L.

I would expect an L versus Arky but the Petrino situation is interesting.

Ole Miss and Vandy should be W's even though Vandy is improved and at home.

The Ags are hard to gauge with a new QB and new coaching staff but they have talent. I'd expect a W in Auburn.

New Mexico State should be a win.

Georgia should be a loss since Georgia has a lot coming back and a veteran QB.

Alabama A&M - win
Alabama - loss

I'd look at 7-5.

It is a pretty tough schedule. Clemson isn't a gimmee. Arky, LSU, Bama, and Georgia is a really tough slate. Cowbell and Aggie aren't pushovers either.

I could see 8 wins easier than I'd see 6. I think there was too wide of a gap between them and the elite last year to expect 9 wins although the road games aren't too bad with the exception of at Bama.

no im being serious. aTm has a very very good OL, a very good RB and a good #1 reciever. I give them the slight advantage on offense. Not too sure about either teams defense. Auburn looked like a Big12 defense last year and aTm actually was a Big12 defense. I think the team that gets smarter QB play will win the game

I assume that you're saying that your "pretty damn close" to Bama and UGA. You're wrong, and you're probably 2-3 years from being right. Bama and UGA skullfricked you to death the last time you played. You might be trolling (and if you are, nice!), but there is absolutely no logical reason to think that you're "close" to either. If one of the ones you're referring to is LSU, um, no.

Since I'm not an expert I will defer to Rivals to make my point. The average recruiting rankings for each 4 teams over the last 4 years is as follows.

Bama-2
Georgia-7
LSU-8
Auburn-10

That's pretty damn close to 2 of the 3 in my book.

Auburn's defense is returning 10 starters and that joke of a DC (Roof) is gone. Our offense is returning 8 starters. This game is at home (JHS). Granted, we don't know who our starting QB is, and I am unsure of Loeffler. With that said, our Dline will handle TAMU's offense.

Our defense was shittastic last year for a reason dude. We returned 4 starters in 2011. We came in last for returning starters (Offense, Defense and Special Teams)

SEC 2012 Returning Starters
T-2. Auburn (total of 18)
Offense: 7 (QB included)
Defense: 9
Special teams: 2
National rank: T-8th

ETA:
I just noticed that ESPN has our returning starter numbers different than what I have above. I'm gonna have to investigate this.

People like to gloss over the fact that our two deep DL was made up of entirely Soph's and Fr, and one Jr in Jamar Travis, who was basically a trash time player. Dee Ford was the only other Jr, but he got hurt early and missed the rest of the season. Your not going to be successful with only sophomores and true freshman on your D line in the SEC.

Now those soph and Fr and Jr's and Soph with a lot of experience, more strength and the depth is finally there to be able to rotate on the line. I don't know that people really appreciate what that means for our defense this year.

LB and S are a concern due to depth, but with Van Gorder coming in, that makes me feel better, but our DL and CB's should be very good this year.

It is always hard to judge based off a previous year, however Auburn did almost lose to Utah State so they do have a lot to prove. Changing a coach doesn't always mean an immediate upgrade on the field.

Auburn's margin of defeat was huge last year. In the games they lost, it wasn't just the defense.

They scored 14, 10, 7, 14 against Arky, LSU, Georgia, and Bama. They were ranked 104 in total offense. Both sides of the ball were subpar.

I would give Auburn the advantage against the Aggies for sure but it is really hard game to predict due to a ton of new coaches and the QB's being an unknown.

I find it funny how this time a year ago, Auburn would be lucky to make a bowl game based on all the players that left after the 2010 season (around 30 I believe). Yet, according to said predictions, Auburn exceeded expectations. Somehow this all turns into reasons why Chiznik sucks and fail and blah blah blah.

No fricking kidding, eh?

im not so sure. Lemonier is gonna have his hands full. aTm's biggest strength is their OTs

i agree that is an advantage for Auburn. But will it be enough?

Like I said, i think this game comes down to which QB plays smarter. Neither team has an established starter at this point. The early season development of both will play a big factor.

It's a shame that recruiting isn't everything. Are you telling me that you think that Auburn is close to LSU in terms of (now developed) talent on the field? They aren't.

If recruiting talent equated to on-field performance, Texas would be a juggernaut. They aren't.

and more imporantly after all your waffling back and forth how do they "beat that arse?"
