In 2 years, Kirby has done more than Muschamp in 5 by far.
1) SEC Champ
2) Rose bowl Champ
3) National Champ loss
Record: 21-7 or .750 win pct.
Muschamp
1) No SEC
2) Won Gator bowl and Outback. Lost Sugar and Birmingham bowl.
Let's say it again...lost Birmingham bowl. (last year)
3) No National Champ game.
Record: 43-32 or .573 win pct. over 6 years
Let's also add #1 recruiting class for 2018 and so far #1 for 2019.

Compare his Florida resume if you want, but not SC. Kirby inherited a roster with pretty good talent. Boom inherited a roster with talent that managed to lose to the Citadel.

Maybe. Champ never went to the title game, but he seems to have learned and improved. We will all have a better idea in a couple of years.

In all seriousness....it only takes a small let down by us and a big game by them and their prediction could come true. It wouldn't be the first time USC has beaten us up there.

Auburn has only gone more than 3 years without winning the west 1 time in the past 25 years son. And that 1 time it was 4 years.

Smart and Muschamp's first two years are very comparable.
Let's not forget Smart's second year involved a very weak schedule, compared to Muschamp's second year.
Muschamp went 5-2 vs ranked teams, compared to Smart's 3-2.
Only thing different was Muschamp wasn't blown out, and there were no playoffs(or UF was in). Muschamp's only regular season loss involved a last second fumble. Smart got beat down in his regular season loss.
So yes. They are comparable. Florida would have been in the playoffs if they existed. Florida actually did more in terms of vs ranked teams.

uhh, wrong answer. 2004 to 2010 is 6 years.
The conference championship game started in 1992, and Auburn didn't play in it till 1997, so that's another 5 years you missed it.
